All of the bells are supported within a new Whitechapel high-sided metal frame, located immediately
below the retained historic wooden frame.
Before 1996, the 4 older bells were deemed un-ringable and had been as such, within living memory.
After 1996, the No.(2) bell of 1720 became the clock bell, hung dead and positioned on top
of the older wooden frame.
